Michael Shenefelt was raised in Vienna, Virginia. His love for the theater was born with his stage debut as Paddington Bear in “The Adventures of Paddington Bear” in the third grade. He recently graduated from the University of Virginia where he studied Theater as well as International Relations and Spanish. At UVa, Michael had the fortune of training under Robert Chapel, Richard Warner, Kate Burke, and Marianne Kubik. In addition to his UVA training, Michael continues to study classical voice with internationally recognized tenor, Mr. Russell Penney.
Michael is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association. This year Michael has shot commercials and industrials for Publix, Brighthouse Neworks, Zaxby’s, Wilson Tennis, and Kauffman Tire. He has also starred in a number of films, some of which have been screened at international film festivals. See him this fall on the second season of ‘Satisfaction’ on the USA network. As of this summer, Michael has officially moved to the great city of Atlanta. Here’s to making it happen in the ATL, AKA Hotlanta, AKA Hollywood East.
Outside of the entertainment industry, Michael enjoys tennis, swimming, wakeboarding, Latin music, Spanish cinema, wine and Trivial Pursuit.
